Sunscreen

My office building has a nice enclosed court yard in the middle and this is the view looking up from one corner of it. It has an interesting structure of hanging rubber sheets which I guess blocks the sun from the office windows. I cannot find a better explanation for it being there.

There is no post-processing on the image. The usually off-white sheets are glowing yellow from the lighting below and the sky was this fantastic blue just after sun-set.

Coconut Palms and Wild Sky

Shot close to home in God's Own Country. :) Was on my way running an errand for mom when I passed this open space (one of the very few) where I could get a shot of the sky and the landscape together. Had to drive like mad to get back to the spot and shoot before the colours and the clouds disappeared.
